LEC’s General Studies BOYS Division is looking to hire teachers for grades 2-5 for the upcoming school year – 2023/2024.
As an elementary school teacher, you can set the tone for learning for the rest of a student’s life. You teach students to love learning and overcome the challenges and obstacles they face that keep them from reaching their goals. While adhering to the curriculum, our teachers are encouraged to find creative and engaging ways to teach students real-life applications of difficult concepts.
Teachers are responsible for teaching all subjects, such as reading, science, social studies, grammar, writing, and mathematics. Teachers write weekly lesson plans for all subjects, including engagement and total participation techniques. They also help students develop critical thinking skills, solve problems, and understand abstract ideas. They develop and enforce classroom rules to teach proper behavior. In addition to grading papers and homework regularly, they communicate with students and parents to update them on their progress throughout the year.

Preschool Teacher Assistant – Full Time/Part Time
We are looking to hire motivated personnel to assist the primary teacher.
Full time schedule:
Monday – Thursday 8:00-4:00.
Friday 8:00 – 2:15.
A Preschool Assistant Teacher is responsible for:
- The supervision and supportive management of a classroom in accordance with the philosophy, goals and curriculum plan of the class.
- Assisting in development of monthly lesson plans.
- Implementing activities on a daily basis including evaluating the effectiveness of activities.
- Helping to create and maintain a classroom culture of health and safety, both physical and emotional.
Preschool Lead Teacher – Full Time/Part Time
Full Time – Hours:
Monday – Thursday 8:00-4:00.
Friday 8:00 – 2:15.
A Lead Teacher is responsible for:
- The general supervision and management of a class of children.
- Planning, supervising and implementing the program for the age group which has been assigned.
- Gearing the program to the needs of individual children with concern for their interests, handicaps, special talents, and individual style and pace of learning.
- Being responsible for the arrangement, appearance, décor and learning environment of the classroom.
- Being responsible for supervising the teaching teacher assistance in the class ensuring the smooth coordination of all classroom activities and staff and student interrelation ships.
- Planning must include both the outdoor and indoor areas and cover for a complete day in the program.
- Insure that necessary equipment and materials are accessible and in good condition in order to encourage maximum use by the children and maintain an updated list for ordering supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
A minimum of two years’ experience in teaching preschool children. Degree is preferable but not required
General Studies – Assistant Teacher-1st grade
LEC’s General Studies Division is looking to hire 1st-grade assistants for the upcoming school year 2022/2023.
Teacher assistants provide additional support and instruction in the classroom under the supervision of a teacher. Specifically but not limited to,
- Help children who need extra support to complete tasks.
- Support teachers in managing classroom behaviors.
- Supervise students during recess.
- Work with students in small groups to reinforce lessons taught
- Manage homework folders.
- Make photocopies of necessary class material.
- Attend weekly meetings.
- Assess students’ progress.
- Work with the teacher in maintaining a safe and healthy class culture.

Middle School Girls – General Studies Teacher — All Subjects
Beit Apel Middle School for Girls is seeking educators in all content areas for the 2022-2023 academic year.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in content area or a related content area
- Teaching Experience: 2+ years
Candidate must:
- Have the ability to teach engagingly and effectively, using a variety of instructional methodologies, curriculum resources, and materials
