LEC STUDENTS BRING THE HOLIDAY OF SUKKOS TO THEIR COMMUNITIES

It’s become a tradition.  Every year Lubavitch Educational Center students of all ages take to the streets to spread awareness of the holiday of Sukkos and assist their fellow Jews in performing the mitzvos of lulav and esrog.  Enabled by LEC’s tradition of making the lulav and esrog sets available to the students at a highly discounted price, they took to the streets with enthusiasm and determination.  Students were asked to take pictures of their encounters and submit them to the school with a note signed by a parent.  They were also awarded Chinese auction tickets for each person they did the Sukkos mitzvos with.

When all the submissions were calculated, the results were staggering—over 13,800 Sukkos mitzvos were performed by Jews in South Florida, thanks to the ahavas Yisroel and hard work of our students.  To view even more pictures, go to the 3rd floor lobby, where they are posted on the wall.
